Bushcrafter Kukuri 7.0 by TOPS Knives

Kukri Designed by: L.V.I. Bushcraft & Survival Inc. Nicholas Fury III

This knife embodies over 30 years of outdoor expertise. For Nick, Wilderness Bushcraft & Survival has been more than just a hobby; it's been a way of life. The design draws inspiration from the Nepalese Khukuri, instantly recognizable by its distinctive blade shape.

"My travels have taken me to some of the furthest reaches of the world, some so remote that there would be little chance of seeing another human being, and sometimes, alone. It is these conditions this knife was designed for. The first words that came to mind when I designed this Khukuri were strength, reliability, resilience, and adaptability."

This is not merely another Khukuri. You'll notice the blade features a more pronounced sweeping belly than typical Kukris, allowing for substantial chopping power despite its shorter length. The belly also aids in skinning animals, whether by choking up on the blade or employing push and draw motions for caping.

The curved design of this kukri is ideal for slicing, using the blade as a draw knife in both push and pull directions, creating feather sticks with the inner curve, and processing firewood through chopping, batoning, or even smashing nuts with the pommel and scraping bark with the blade’s back.

The handle is built to endure harsh conditions without causing hand fatigue during prolonged use. It includes bow drill divots on each side for friction fire-making and a lanyard hole at the pommel's end. Functionality and ergonomics were the primary focus in its design.

The Bushcrafter Kukri, however, is designed primarily as a tool, integrating the best characteristics of the Kukri to be highly effective for both Bushcraft and Survival tasks. It combines substantial size and strength for survival situations with the lightness and agility needed for Bushcraft chores.
